HANGZHOU, China, April 29, 2025 — Geely Auto Group officially announces the appointment of Mr. Alex Nan as CEO of Geely Auto International Corporation (GAIC), entrusting him with leading the company’s global growth strategy. Concurrently performing also as the Vice President of Geely Auto Group, Mr. Nan will oversee all international operations, driving innovation, market expansion, and brand excellence on a global scale. Mr. Nan also holds the positions of CEO of LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) and Chairman of LEVC UK.

With an exceptional track record of transformative leadership in the automotive industry, Mr. Nan’s distinguished career spanning nearly three decades at Geely includes product development, sales, marketing, and strategic management. Under his leadership, Geely has established operations in over 80 countries and regions, serving more than 1.3 million international customers and greatly boosting the brand’s global recognition.

 

Since 2021, Mr. Nan has been serving as CEO of LEVC and Chairman of LEVC UK, where he orchestrates the brand’s transformation from a premium London taxi manufacturer to a global name in sustainable mobility solutions. Under his dynamic leadership, LEVC expands into new international markets, integrating modern electric vehicle technologies and revitalizing the century-old British marque for the advanced era of mobility.

 

Before LEVC, as General Manager of Geely Auto International Sales Company from 2017, Mr. Nan transformed Geely’s overseas strategy by introducing the innovative 3.0-generation product portfolio and streamlining international distribution networks. His bold vision substantially enhanced Geely’s overseas presence, establishing the brand as a high-value and competitive force in global markets.

 

Earlier, as Vice President of Domestic Sales of Geely Auto from 2006, Mr. Nan pioneered marketing strategies for Geely’s 3.0-generation SUV lineup, including the iconic Boyue model. His strategic vision and innovative campaigns propelled Geely to the forefront of China’s highly competitive automotive industry, cementing its reputation as a market leader.
